Do you get overwhelmed when faced with ugly numbers? Try replacing fractions, decimals, scientific notation, or variables with simple numbers that do make sense to you. Make a plan- what would you do to solve the problem if it did involve simpler values. Now substitute back in those complex values and follow your plan.
